3/5 No Label Brewery
We attended an event at this location and were so excited to give it a try, but the overall experience was…meh. Initial impression was great. There’s a large parking lot to accomodate the enormous brewery, an abundance of seating, indoor and outdoor space, air conditioning inside, rustic vibes, large merch selection and food trucks parked outside with great vegetarian options. We ordered drinks and found a table to sit at and got comfortable, but the longer we stayed, the more we noticed.
I had checked out their beer menu on their website and found a beer I desperately wanted to try, but when we tried to order it we were told it wasn’t available. Don’t get me wrong, there were plenty of options on tap, but not the one I had been looking forward to. If the beer is not available, note that on your website. There is no guest wifi available, but cell service seemed to be great so it wasn’t an issue for us. Just something to keep in mind if you have data restrictions on your cell phone plan. What ultimately led us to leave earlier than expected was how warm it got inside. I don’t know if it was the tin roof heating the space up faster than the AC could cool it or if the AC stopped working, but we were absolutely drenched in sweat when we left. My husband commented that it actually felt cooler outside when we were walking to the car.
All of that being said, it’s worth noting that the beer and service at this brewery was good. My husband tried the Cali Boy IPA and the 281 IPA and would recommend both though he says Cali Boy is the better one of the two. I had the Octoberfest and it was good as well. Between the three beers and two vegetarian meals from the food truck we spent less than $100 which is amazing value these days. We would return, but in cooler weather.
Let me know if you’ve been here and what you thought!
Until Next Time,
Happy Day Drinking
